Background
About Arick Ortiz
As a Field Service Technician at Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, I apply my voltage and field skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar-powered equipment for oil and gas operations. I have been working in this role since Aug 2022, after graduating with an AAS in Building Construction Technology from Texas State Technical College Harlingen. I also have two Associate degrees in Computer Maintenance Technology and Computer Networking & Security Technology from the same college, which I completed in Oct 2019. Prior to joining Solaris Oilfield, I served as a Team Supervisor at US Army for one month, from Jan 2023 to Jan 2023, where I led a team of six soldiers in performing various tasks and missions. I am passionate about renewable energy and sustainability, and I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team that values safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a technician and a leader in the oilfield industry.
