Physician (National University of La Plata, 1996); Master of Sciences in Epidemiology (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 2004). PhD in Public Health (University of Buenos Aires, 2012) Deputy Director at the Center for Research in Epidemiology and Public Health Researcher at National, Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET)- Argentina at the Institute for Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy (IECS). Member of the Argentinean Cochrane Collaboration Center at IECS, and also of the Health Technology Assessment and Health Economic Evaluations Department. Bernard Lown Scholar (from 2020) at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He worked at the National University of La Plata, in the Program for Infarction Prevention (PROPIA), in health promotion and epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and diabetes (2001-2010). Served as a Consultant for the Ministry of Health in the area of non-communicable diseases surveillance in 2007-2009. Both during 2006 and 2007, he was invited to participate in the Carrillo-Oñativia a research Scholarship from the Ministry of Health. He is currently faculty and thesis’ tutor for the Program of Clinical Effectiveness, a master program of the University of Buenos Aires at IECS, and in e-learning courses. He has conducted several training and research projects in CV epidemiology and HTAs in several countries, counting with experience in conducting multi-country research projects. His research interest areas include Systematic Reviews, Non-communicable and communicable diseases epidemiology, and Spatial analysis. He has published more than 70 of articles in peer review journals. He completed a residency of Internal Medicine at a large Buenos Aires province public hospital "Hospital General San Martín La Plata" He was chief of residents in He has worked as consultant in several public and private institutions in areas such as: rational usage of medicines, primary-care based systems and preventive programs.
