About Ariel Li

Ever since I was a little kid, calculating numbers has been my passion. I still remember sitting in front of the table and concentrating on the math workbook. As time passed, numbers ran faster and faster in my mind. In primary school, I got the third place at school’s mental arithmetic. Two years ago, I was the treasurer in Student Council. My job was to journalize all the transactions and post them to the ledger accounts. My scrupulous characteristic was naturally prepared for financial recording and budgeting. Hence, I was curious and eager to know more about accounting. Last semester, I took the required Basic Accounting class at Kelley School of Business. The logic between debts, interests and depreciation is not only something I good at, but something I feel passionate about. As a result, I worked hard and got A+. However, this was not an end. Later on, I applied for the Peer Tutor to help students understand accounting better. With my bilingual skills in Chinese and English, I was able to coach students more efficiently and effectively.
