About Ariel Smarowsky

I have worked in retail since I was able to work at 16. I did alot of under the table jobs in small shops within my town. When I worked at the Dollar General, I was promoted to Assistant Manager within a month of being hired due to catching on so quick and with my positive and friendly attitude towards customers. I grew up being creative and artsy in high school; I actually had some of my artwork in the Bloomsburg Fair, which is a huge local fair in my area. I went to college, I wasn't myself and I had a very good friend of mine once tell me that in this economy all we go to college for is to pay for a piece of paper to define myself, why not work your way up with hardwork and that really made me think. When I came across my current job which is a Visual Merchandising Coordinator I was actually nervous because, I wasn't sure if it was going to be for me. But I love my job, I love being able to critically think problems out due to my store being smaller than most stores I try my best to work what I can into it.
