I am a passionate professional experienced in working on a transition to healthy, sustainable and just food systems in both public and private organisations in the Netherlands and abroad. Because I have such a diverse background, I speak the language of each of these organisations and understand their culture, I can find common ground to set up a connection and foster collaboration. I am an effective manager setting up and overseeing projects and programs to deliver timely and complete results within budget and with the right people. In addition, I translate external developments into opportunities for innovation and into short-term and long-term strategic goals thereby contributing to the mission and vision of the organisation. I thereby strongly believe in using scientific insights and apply them to daily practice. I inspire my team to never stop being curious, to bring out the best in themselves, connect as a team and have fun in what they do, thereby delivering the best results and creating a safe working environment. Combining my passion for food and for people, being curious and a fast learner, always looking for opportunities do things differently and do this together with others, is what makes me thrive every day.
