About Arif Minhal

I am working as MYP Coordinator. I facilitate Individuals and Societies for the MYP. I had been the Personal Project Coordinator in Middle Years Programme. I had been an E-assessments examiner for Individuals and Societies. I have inculcated in-depth understanding of the MYP. I have collaborated with faculty members to develop and design the vertical articulation of the MYP. I regularly trained teachers to develop the conceptual understanding and practices of the Middle Years Programme, as prescribed in the Standards and Practices document of International Baccalaureate. With the experience of facilitating Humanities in the MYP for more than three years, I have an appropriate understanding of the pedagogy. My ability to align the learning strategies with the agreed learning expectations facilitates meaningful learning outcomes. As a Personal Project Coordinator, I lead the project with precision making all the documentations required for the sustainable completion of the MYP Personal Project. I trained Personal Project Supervisors in PD sessions and gave orientation to students and the parents, in order to keep all the stakeholders informed, about the importance of the Personal Project. Being in the profession of teaching adolescent children, it has been rewarding to interact with them and facilitate their skills and attributes so that they become active learners and problem solvers, and one who understands interconnection of the globe. I have faced the IBO evaluation for IBMYP and IBDP in September, 2014.
