Hello, future Employers/Coworkers I'm Arifa Tyrell, an enthusiastic IT programmer with an endless curiosity for emerging technologies. My journey into programming started with my lifelong love for video games, which inspired me to become a developer. I achieved this goal by starting my academic journey at Humber College. There I earned my advanced diploma in Game Programming, developing skills in languages like HTML, CSS, C++, and C#, inspiring me to one day create fun and memorable gaming experiences that my friends and family can enjoy and treasure! To further enhance my skill development, I joined NPower Canada's intensive 15-week program at Toronto Metropolitan, improving and expanding my programming abilities and earning essential skills in time management, communication and financial literacy. This program was pivotal in boosting my technical expertise and professional readiness. I have always been enthusiastic about learning and dedicate my free time to exploring new languages like SQL and Kotlin. Beyond coding, I have a deep love for creative expression. In 2012, my high school team won the prestigious Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Award in the narrative film category for our project "Finding Home," an unforgettable experience that solidified my creative drive.
