About Arijit Sarkar

With over 10 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, I have developed a core competence in project finance, structured finance, and M&A advisory across various sectors, especially in renewable and other infrastructure. As the Head Credit at L&T Financial Services, I am responsible for end-to-end origination, technical appraisal, credit approval, and relationship management of project financing opportunities in the infrastructure domain. My mission is to provide innovative and sustainable financing solutions to clients, co-lenders, promoters, and investors, while adhering to internal and external compliance and regulatory guidelines. I have successfully closed and monitored multiple projects, involving complex financial modeling, techno-economic analysis, credit risk identification and mitigation, legal and financial due diligence, and deal structuring. I have also leveraged my market and industry research skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities and M&A deals, with a special expertise in energy, transportation, metal, and mining sectors.
