Background

About Arik Muller

I'm an experienced software engineer and team lead who enjoys the full scope of delivering complex technical initiatives, from the initial architectural design to advising stakeholders on the final product. My experience covers the entire lifecycle, from the underlying DevOps and infrastructure to the backend services that power the user experience. My technical focus has been on building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable under load. This has led me to specialize in data-intensive platforms, with a track record of architecting high-throughput, serverless data pipelines and solutions on AWS. I enjoy working across the full development spectrum, from rapidly building prototypes on custom hardware to validate new concepts, to engineering the reliable, production-grade systems that scale them for customers. As a leader, my primary goal is to build a successful team. I believe in coaching and mentoring engineers to help them grow their careers, and I enjoy contributing to the team's growth by influencing hiring. I'm also passionate about driving best practices not just within my team, but across the wider engineering organization.
