About Arindam Bhattacharjee

Now I talk about Electrosurgery -) Previously, as a research scientist, I used to investigate topics in perception, cognition, and neuroscience. I worked on diverse projects including tactile & haptics (my current area of research), vision & movement, as well as music perception & cognition. I enjoy the whole research process: designing experiments (probably the most fun thing to do), then digging into data and visualizing it in various ways, noticing how a story unveils itself, and finally telling that data story to everyone (anyone who is willing to listen - irrespective of the technical expertise of the audience). I have communicated my work in 11 publications, eight speaking gigs, and 15 poster presentations (including conferences where there were attendees). Also, I am the co-founder of a social enterprise called 'Rani & Reine', which is a craft based initiative.
