Currently serving as the Marketing & Digital Media Coordinator at the Discovery Center Museum in Rockford, IL. In this role, I coordinate the marketing and communications initiatives, including overseeing digital content creation, social media strategy, website updates, email marketing, and public relations efforts, working closely with the Director of Advancement. Previously, I served as the Head of Marketing at the Huntley Area Public Library in Huntley, IL, where I oversaw the marketing department, managed celebratory campaigns such as National Library Card Sign-Up Month and National Library Week, curated a bi-monthly newsletter for households, and coordinated event planning, outreach, and graphic design. Proud graduate of Castleton University (now Vermont State University) with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications with a concentration in Journalism, where I was an active member of The Spartan college newspaper and served as Editor-in-Chief my senior year. Previous roles also include MarComm Specialist at Rockford University, HR Communications Intern at Casella Waste Systems, Inc, and Marketing Assistant at the Huntley Area Public Library before being appointed Head of Marketing within just a year. Lover of pop music, iced coffee, and a silly little treat. Full-time pet mom to my dog Doodle and my cat Dino. Vermont born and raised.
