About Aritra Bhowmik

I am currently leading the Site Success Management team, focusing on APAC and Africa, as part of Cognizant Global Medical Affairs. As a technology Medical Affairs lead, I aim to glean meaningful insights from various Site / HCPs interactions and workshops, and bring those to product teams for product improvements. I have successfully facilitated collaboration between Sponsors/CROs and Sites, enabling them to address real-life challenges collaboratively in the clinical trials ecosystem. I have also spearheaded the adoption of digital platforms (offered by Cognizant Life Sciences) by clinical research sites, enhancing operational efficiency across trials and Sponsors. In addition to my current role, I have a strong background in product management, having led a team to build a global, industry-wide adoptable clinical trial platform aimed at reducing operational overhead for Sponsors / CROs and Sites during clinical trials - with key focus on product roadmap creation, feature prioritization, stakeholder buy-ins and requirement management. Additionally, I have spearheaded Business Development for Cognizant's Life Sciences clients, enabling multi-fold jump in account revenue for Cognizant over a span of few years.
