About Arja Kosonen

I´m working as a account executive at Helsinki University in the Unit for Community Relations that is responsible for building partnerships with University’s different stakeholder groups. My key customers are private people, foundations and businesses that are interested to make donations to science. My managerial competence arises from strong experience and different director positions in the service business, including a retail bookstore, a smartcard-project, sustainability business, quality systems and public procurements. I’ve been working on the operational and strategic level, setting up new businesses and developing new services. Public affairs, marketing, communication and sales duties have always been a part of my extrovert nature. As a person, I`m a social and easily approachable person, who gets along with very different and differently-minded people. Networking is definitely one of my strengths. I have excellent skills to open doors for new customers, starting new projects and completing them on their target levels. Furthermore, I have the ability to get my colleagues and co-workers excited about new challenges with me.
