About Arjun Achuthan

I currently work as a Technical Project Manager at Africa GreenTec, specializing in Containerized Energy solutions. In this capacity, I manage projects comprehensively, from procurement and design through to production and commissioning. I also coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. My primary focus is on developing containerized solar-powered -energy storage systems, cold storage systems and water purification systems. These innovative and sustainable products are designed to empower the people of rural Africa by providing them with reliable electricity and infrastructure, thereby enhancing their quality of life. I hold a Master's degree from SRH Hochschule Berlin in Engineering, with a focus on Renewable Energy, PV, Water and Waste Management, and International Business. During my studies, I gained technical expertise in off-grid systems, system designs, co-generation, and hybrid solutions, along with PV design using PV Sol and analytical software such as MATLAB and R programming. Additionally, I developed skills in project management, project coordination, and policy-making through the International Business components of my course. I also have over 2.5 years of experience in the field of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) as a Project Engineer.
