About Arjun Babu

With a background in mechanical engineering and a postgraduate degree in supply chain management and global logistics, I have developed a strong foundation in the chemical distribution industry. I am currently pursuing another postgraduate degree in marketing research and analytics, which will enhance my skills in digital marketing, business analysis, and market research. In my most recent role as a sales and supply chain coordinator at Pon Pure Chemicals Group, I was responsible for identifying and generating leads, maintaining key account sales and customer service, and coordinating with the India team for shipment planning. I successfully expanded the company's presence in the North American market, securing multiple contracts with potential clients in Canada, USA, and Mexico. I also leveraged my expertise in cross-country trade, negotiation, and import and export procurement management to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions. Previously, I worked as an exports senior executive and an exports executive at the same company, where I managed and developed the business in Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines, and Brunei, and visited these countries to establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers. I am passionate about creating effective marketing strategies for the chemical industry, and I have demonstrated my ability to do so by using various tools and platforms, such as SAS, Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, and Coursera. I have also earned multiple certifications, such as the International B2B Marketing certificate, the Learning SAP Analytics Cloud certificate, and the SAP Student Recognition Award. I am a team player, a leader, and a mentor, who values collaboration, contribution, and support. I have led and mentored teams to achieve desired outcomes, and I have worked with diverse and multicultural stakeholders across different regions and countries.
