As a part of the Supply Chain BU in BRIDGEi2i my responsibilities include driving the Supply & Demand Planning CoE. Leveraging various statistical learning and machine learning techniques we help FMCG, Consumer Durable, Consumer Electric and Manufacturing companies manage their supply chain in a data driven and holistic manner. Supply Chain is one of the most important areas of any company. Starting from procurement, manufacturing and vendor management to demand planning, inventory management and logistic optimization. These are few facets of Supply Chain which enables companies to boost customer service and reduce operating cost. Helping clients with a statistically driven forecasts taking into account various external variables, macroeconomic factors, product hierarchy and sku complexity. Converting a business problem to an objective function which a Statistical algorithm can solve. Coming up with a sound forecast which can be used by Account Managers, Category Mangers and CXO's to keep the health of Supply Chain in check and better manage the inventories. Translating the numbers to a consumable format via dashboards and webapps are few of the things in my charter.
