About Arletys Gomez

As a Recruiter at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) since January 2022, I specialize in identifying and attracting qualified, diverse talent for our U.S. RAI operations. I utilize a comprehensive skill set in public speaking, management, communication, and organization to effectively source, screen, and interview candidates. I also collaborate extensively with hiring managers and stakeholders across various U.S. regions and functional areas to ensure alignment and success in our recruitment efforts. I hold a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a focus in migration and development issues in Latin America. My academic background provides a solid foundation for understanding and addressing complex humanitarian challenges. Prior to my tenure at IRC, I served as a Program Associate at the Pan American Development Foundation, where I supported with the implementation of projects focused on migration and human rights in Latin America. Additionally, I have experience as a Grants Coordinator at the Naples Children & Education Foundation, where I managed the intake and dissemination of over 60 grant applications, fostered relationships with beneficiaries, and supervised projects aimed at early interventions in children’s education, healthcare, and nutritional needs. I am deeply committed to advancing the dignity and well-being of individuals affected by crisis and conflict. My professional journey is driven by a passion for making a tangible impact, and I am dedicated to contributing to the IRC's mission of delivering lasting change in the lives of those we serve.
