About Arlivia Gamble

Arlivia has never held a job she didn't love. She was a high school teacher for seven years. She left teaching to go full time with Mary Kay Cosmetics as a Sales Director. Her passion for teaching and helping people realize their dreams won her several cars, including a Pink Regal Buick. She joined State Farm in 1987 as an agent in Hopkinsville, KY. She was named Agency Manager in 1994 and Agency Field Executive in 1995. Today, she is the Vice President Agency responsible for Agency/Sales Resources Center, the Centralized Administrative Support team and the corporate Agency Recruiting team. Among the things she is most proud includes being the founding chair of FOCUS Steering Committee, a minority leadership development program and the local Chamber of Commerce Small and Minority Economic Development Program in her hometown that helped identify and develop leaders and minority business owners. Both received state and regional level recognition. She earned her LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow (LLIF) in 2004 from LIMRA International and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. While at corporate, Gamble was the Executive Sponsor and Co-founder of Rainmakers, a successful women's leadership development group for State Farm employees. She served in the role of Chair for the National African American Women's Leadership Institute in Dallas during her tenure on the board. Currently, she is a member of NAIFA, National Sales Network and serves as Co-Chair of New Beginning Church Board of Trustees in Lewisville, Texas. Arlivia endorses the belief that a leader is a reader. Her daily reading ritual begins early each morning with the Bible followed by a chapter in whatever she is currently reading and concludes with an entry in her Gratitude Journal. Arlivia is married to Darryl Swann and they have a blended family that includes three grown children, Angelique, Miles and Dana and a furry feline family member.Sweetie Pie.
