Most recently, my current Tier 1 school was named the #1 KIPP School in the Texas Network and in the top 10% Middle School in Texas I have consistently ranked at the top 5 educators for student STAAR results in network and top 10% of educators across Texas for 7th Grade Reading and have above 90% student satisfaction Panorama (student and family relation data). As a Generalist Education Teacher, I am well versed in multiple disciplines. Through the past 8 years, I have been working as an Interventionist specializing in Humanities, a Blended Learning Specialist (merging traditional education with technology), a Founding Computer Science & Engineering STEM Program Director and Teacher at my school (as well as a Robotics Coach), a Dyslexia Coordinator & Special Education Teacher, and, most recently, an award winning English Language Arts Teacher. Through my efforts in classroom management, data-driven instruction, and Social Emotional Learning practices my students have proved that their learning through the year by growing tremendously while putting us with the top schools in Houston (for the content I was teaching) year after year.
