About Armando Rivas

Since I was studying at the University I knew that I liked software development. I remember I changed my career because it surprised me the way software was created. At that time It was really exciting to find out that with just a few lines of code it was possible to process arithmetic operations among other things. Programming has been like a game to me where I can spend hours utilizing logic. I’m a fan of creating clean and readable code, and of course maintainable. I’m certain that source code well done must be understandable for anyone. For more than 10 years I have participated in several projects that have allowed me to boost my professional skills. Currently, I’m a consultant at RedHat working with important clients to upgrade/migrate systems using the latest technologies in the industry. I’m aware that technology changes, evolves constantly, and surprises us every second with something new to learn, I'm sure there would always be new knowledge to get. I’m committed to keep learning it.
