About Arminio Serrano

I have led projects where new processes have been introduced and current processes have been modified. I have conducted time studies and spaghetti diagrams to redesign assembly line layouts. I have been using solid works for the past six years to design components and assemblies for the refrigeration industry. I have led many projects small and large. I have worked on cost reduction projects, new product development projects, and sustaining projects. Designed and redesigned components and assemblies to meet customer needs. I have worked closely with manufacturing to design components that could be made in house with existing equipment. I have created and updated bills of materials. I have also worked with suppliers to design and implement purchased components to meet customer demands. I also worked as a manufacturing engineer for a couple of years. Within that time I supervised an assembly line, initiated part design changes for ease of assembly, and conducted some cost savings projects.
