About Arnab Banerjee
I joined Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN as an Assistant Professor starting Spring-2020. Before that I was a scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). My research is on the emergent quantum phenomena in magnetic materials. My Ph.D. in Physics specialized in the study of magnetic and electronic phase transitions in semiconductors. I have a focused understanding of quantum behaviour, coherence and complex material properties with an outlook towards new devices. I am an expert in complicated beamline experiments, handling samples in extreme environments and challenging measurement protocols in a collaborative environment. Besides, I use NISQ-era quantum devices for data analysis and predictive modelling of experimental systems.
