About Arnab Haldar

I always had a knack for learning something new to the point that I acquired a new nomenclature of being called Mr. Google by my classmates. However, conventional teaching did not always excite me. I always yearned to be a different kind of teacher. This yearning made me work in different areas, some directly linked to education whereas some of them were distantly connected. I had always believed that to be a good teacher one has to have a good understanding of the concepts and a flair for writing to make my thoughts well accessible. Being educated in a strict ICSE school with stoic nuns, education in the early days wasn’t full of fun, however, in my higher secondary I felt very different surrounded by lively teachers who followed the philosophies of Mother and Sri Aurobindo and it made me feel quite at ease. Eventually, I committed myself to work at Essencz solutions and Beamingnotes which gave me a broad insight into the curriculum, and my time at Rukmani Devi Jaipuria Public School concretized my understanding of the classroom teaching. My brief stint with corporate content unraveled a different world of writing, right from Google AdCopies to business-centric blog posts, success stories, etc. Ultimately, it was a dream come true to be a part of niche project 'Rupantar's Innovative Pathshala' of Sri Aurobindo Society, wherein my previous experience in writing educational content, attending teacher training workshops, and being a teacher previously did help me a lot to develop content for CBSE/NCERT and even handle teacher training workshops held every year. I have worked for over 4 years and even had been felicitated by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for my contribution to the new experiential curriculum for NCERT and state education curriculum. My USPs include my versatility, multi-tasker, calm demeanor, neutral mindset and professional attitude. The best ever decision I have ever made was to join Leading With Pride. I cannot thank enough for the tremendous value it has added to my both personal and professional life. I can probably write pages after pages. I am assisting my boss Dwight Cook, founder of the program with curriculum development primarily and also take keen interest in website development, backend support et al. I have also undergone 6 weeks of Leadership development training and currently pursuing my project as a part of the program to complete my certification.
