About Arnaud Bocquet

I got a Ph.D. in neurobiolgy in 2004, at Angers University (France) in the field of Neuroscience and Neurobiology (neuronal cytoskeleton regulation in a transgenic model of amyotrphic lateral sclerosis). I then obtained a post-doctoral position at CNRS in Angers (France) to study the local micro circulation in a model of myopathy). I also obtained a master degree in Drug Design/Molecular Pharmacology in from the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille” & Lille II University (France). I started my career in Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals as Head of in vitro pharmacology team (vascular phamracology) for 4 years. Then after 4 years as Scientific Officer business and development scientific affairs for the chairman, managing key projects in Pierre Fabre Group (in particular in the field of dermo-cosmetics, in charge of external innovation management and Pierre Fabre group representative to regional and national authorities), I became scientific coordinator in Pierre Fabre dermo-cosmetics for 2 years in the prospective and Innovation department (innovation managment in dermo-cosmetic). I’m currently R&D program director in the dermatology Innovation Unit of Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals and manage several programs from early stage to market approval in the fields of dermatological disorders (rare and orphan diseases, inflammatory skin disease, scar disease, drug repurposing). In summary, I have more than 20 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (UCB Pharma, Pierre Fabre Laboratories) as a pharmacologist & research projects manager within the fields of neurobiology, cardiovascular diseases and dermatology.
