About Arnaud Candaele
Electro-mechanical engineer by training, a first job opportunity oriented my career towards fluid dynamics, and CFD ("Computational Fluid Dynamics") in particular. I then developed great interest and experience in that field, which gave me the opportunity to deal with a wide range of physics, industrial processes, and engineering topics, while developing a strong set of numerical/computer skills required for modeling activities. Part of these activities were also linked to the world of construction via indoor thermal simulations or outdoor wind simulations around buildings, which led me to my next and current journey as member of the Digital Construction division at Buildwise (formerly BBRI - Belgian Building Research Institute), where I now contribute to the development of applications around emerging technologies in construction, such as BIM, VR/AR, architectural visualization, etc.
