Medical Affairs principal missions consist in delivering real world evidences for the medical value of bioMérieux products through clinical studies in order to support company business growth and to provide medical and scientific knowledge to other functional departments focusing on pathologies of strategic importance. To accomplish those missions, Medical Affairs are responsible to-Determine the medical value of potential new product opportunities to rationalize and prioritize projects in the R&D pipelines -Act as Medical Science Liaison (MSLs) to create worldwide network with reputed KOLs -Provide medical education to internal and external audience -Manage peri and post market studies and associated medical communications to promote product medical value As Associate Director, I provide leadership and functional excellence for peri and post launch studies management in line with marketing strategy. After internal strategic alignment, my scope starts with principal investigator identification and clinical site selection to end with transformation of study results into posters and publications prior communication in medical review or congress. This covers a large variey of studies : company initiated, investigators initiated research (IIRs), public/private partnerships. I'm also Quality Head for Medical Affairs in charge to assimilate Medical Affairs processes into company Quality Management System, interacting closely with Quality Board. To succeed in this position, I can rely on my skills and experiences acquired during my former job as project and portfolio manager and my initial graduation as clinical pharmacist in medical biology.
