Biggest accomplishments: Graduating at Northeastern University of Illinois as international student Graduating at university of Ghent - Public administration & management Most important values & attributes: I find honesty and truth very important because it is an efficient and effective way to work. Open communication is the most important thing when working in teams to keep it real when giving feedback. Besides that, flexibility and tolerance are important values to me. Personal story: Over the last 7 years, I've grown a lot as a person. Starting off International Business Management with social anxiety and being scared to speak in front of 10 people, stepping out of my comfort zone on a daily basis and being insecure throughout the whole journey. Now I am proud to say that I graduated at Northeastern University of Illinois in the city of Chicago and Artevelde university of applied sciences. Because of the journey I put myself through, forcing myself to be anxious and take risk, I was able to come out of this experience a different person, looking forward to what the future will bring. Completing the challenging task of studying in a foreign country was something I never thought was possible. Even though this was personally my biggest achievement, the ultimate goal in my educational career was obtaining a master’s degree. Therefore, I started studying ‘Public administration & management’ at the University of Ghent. As of 2023, I successfully obtained the masters degree. Since november 2022, I worked as commercial advisor for Belfius bank & insurance. As an advisor, you must be able to combine work ethic and administrative structure with commercial opportunities. This means clients come and go, with each client an opportunity to help them and at the same time contribute to the shared goal of sales. As of July 1st 2024, I will fulfil the role of Business banker at Belfius bank & insurances. For this function, I will stand available for all kinds of entrepreneurs. From starters to well established companies, the goal is to learn how to be able to elevate these entrepreneurs and their dreams to the next level.
