About Arni Tiwari

Currently pursuing MS in Cybersecurity Engineering at University of Washington Bothell. I have hands-on experience in machine learning applications for threat detection, malware analysis, and adversarial resilience. I’ve also worked on defending and attacking server-hosted web applications, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities, securing systems, and understanding real-world threat vectors. My work spans across AI applications in cyber defense, vulnerability analysis, and server-side security. I’ve studied and implemented techniques in malware detection, phishing detection, and intrusion detection using machine learning, while also exploring challenges such as concept drift and adversarial evasion. I'm particularly interested in how evolving threats impact ML-based detection systems and how to build models that adapt and remain reliable in dynamic environments. I also have hands-on experience with real-world server attacks and recovery — including log analysis, uptime monitoring, service recovery, and defense automation — and have worked with binary exploitation, threat modeling using STRIDE, and system-level programming. I'm continuously looking to apply my skills in practical, impactful ways in cybersecurity research or engineering roles.
