About Arnice Izquierdo

Experienced and bilingual (Spanish/English) mental health professional specializing in substance use counseling, since 2020. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from NYU and a Master's degree in Psychology from Adelphi University, where I graduated with honors. I am also licensed eligible as a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) in New York. Additionally, I have obtained both the CASAC 2 and CASAC-G credentials and completed CRAFT training to support families dealing with addiction. Passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction, I find fulfillment in providing individualized counseling services. My approach integrates cultural competence and mindfulness techniques, creating a holistic and effective therapeutic environment. Beyond my academic achievements, I bring valuable leadership experience from serving as president of my college sorority, where I honed my people skills and developed strong leadership abilities while orchestrating community service initiatives that positively impacted those in need.
