About Arno Antuma

I've started my career as a general radiographer not knowing where my journey would end. Already after one year I became a specialized radiographer, responsible for General Xray, mobile surgery and training of local staff at the radiology department. Over the years CT got my attention too. What started with general scanning under supervision of senior CT technicians became a role as senior technician too. Working together with dedicated staff (technician, radiologists and so much supporting people) is always a pleasure. Together we improved the care for all patients and gave them the best treatment possible. Sharing knowledge with starting technicians and other radiology staff became a passion. Over the years I'd got the opportunity to present at congresses and teach new students in general radiology education. In 2019 I moved out of hospital to Philips to start as an Application Consultant in the Advanced Visualization domain for the Benelux market. Training of hospital staff in new technologies and improvements of existing applications is a great job! It is my way to further improve my educational skills and still be part of improving patient care. Getting into so much hospitals for new releases is also a way to receive feedback from users. Based on the feedback I'm able to give insights to product developers to further improve solutions. Try to learn from other people and share your knowledge! Who knows what will come your way!
