About Arpinder Dhillon

Hi there! I'm Arpen, I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Trauma Sensitive Therapist that brings diverse experience to the field of clinical therapeutic practice. With my professional, academic and volunteer background, I come with both research and clinical experience in Social Work and Psychology. My work on an International Social Work research team as well as my role providing clinical psychotherapy on a multi-disciplinary team is well-informed by trauma-informed care models and uses several different therapeutic modalities. I enjoy applying my knowledge of psychology and social work theory, principles and their relevance with neurobiology and cognition in my practise using practical techniques. I have several years of experience providing global crisis relief and mental health support to diverse populations in need in both a voluntary and professional capacity. My warm, personable, quirky nature seeks to provide support to individuals as their teammate, working with others to co-create future plans by promoting each individuals personal values and pursuits to wellness.
