About Arranka Kumar

As a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Amplifon, I apply my skills and knowledge in hearing and speech as an interconnected profession to provide quality care and service to patients with hearing loss. I conduct hearing assessments, fit and adjust hearing aids, and educate patients on hearing health and prevention. I also collaborate with ENTs, audiologists, physicians, and other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. My passion for hearing and speech stems from my education background and my personal interests. I have a bachelor's degree which includes a background in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto, and two graduate certificates in Business Analytics & Management and Communicative Disorders Assistant from Durham College. I also have a certificate in Hearing Instrument Specialist from George Brown College, where I graduated with honours. Furthermore, I am pursuing a career as an audiologist in the near future. On a more personal level, I have a keen interest in music and sports, as I am a piano teacher and a skating instructor with the City of Toronto. I enjoy teaching and communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I constantly seek to learn and improve my skills and competencies.
