About Arrius Nelson
A future lawyer and egalitarian. I am a recent B.A. of legal communications recipient from Howard University with hopes of pursuing a master of public health and law school. I want to help people who are discriminated against in the healthcare industry. My personal experience and research on the healthcare industry was my "light bulb" moment of realizing that people who look like me were dying at a greater rate due to racial stigmas. This is where my passion lies in addressing real-world moral and ethical dilemmas by seeking out, assessing, and benefiting from a wide range of perspectives. My recent graduate status with a major in legal communications and a minor in philosophy have immensely contributed to my career goals. These two concentrations provided invaluable insight on the healthcare industry, among others, from a legal standpoint.
