About Arsalan Sattar

I am currently leading the Accounts department of the Company. My main responsibilities include: • Development and management of financial systems & policies; • Preparation and finalization of annual budgets and review of monthly management accounts and variance reports; • Coordinating and finalization of financial statements with external auditors; • Overseeing payments (Income and Sales Tax application), payroll (month end and other routine matters including management of retirement benefit funds), General Ledger Management, and review of bank reconciliation statements and fixed assets; • Cash flow management; • Review of business plans, feasibility study of new projects and investment appraisals. • Regular monitoring and reporting of expansion projects • Development of analysis model for various business segments using Power Bi. Along with above, I am / was also involved in the following: • Implementation of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger Module of Oracle Financials; • Implementation of new payroll and employee self-service modules; • Issuance of right shares for capital projects expansion; • Putting up Company’s case with relevant regulatory authorities for Special Economic Zone • Management of day to day operations of Supply Chain Department for an interim period which involved procurement, logistics and warehouse operations; and • Overseeing regulatory and secretarial compliances in the capacity of Company Secretary for an interim period.
