I am an experienced Automation and Controls Professional holding a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering and a College Diploma in Robotics and Automation. With over 6 years of experience, I have developed expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining control systems for various industrial operations. Currently, I hold the position of Engineering Controls Specialist at Give and Go Prepared Foods, where I oversee the planning and execution of CapEx projects focused on automation and control systems. My responsibilities include programming, configuring, and integrating SCADA, IIoT, PLC, MES, OT, and Industry 4.0 systems. I manage the FAT and SAT for electrical control panels and equipment, participate in commissioning and start-up processes, and contribute to automation design documentation. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop streamlined process implementations and HMI designs, providing expertise in automation and controls with support both on-site and remotely. I am proficient in applying cybersecurity strategies, including OT cybersecurity, to defend industrial control systems against potential threats, in line with current industry standards and best practices.
