Alongside my work as a Station Agent, I’m committed to delivering safe, precise, and compassionate travel experiences. In my new role, I mentor new hires, assist passengers with special needs, and ensure seamless communication about train schedules and safety protocols. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where every passenger feels supported and valued. Before joining Via Rail, I was the Rooms Division Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milton, where I led operations with a focus on efficiency, guest satisfaction, and staff development. From managing room inspections to streamlining housekeeping processes, my approach always centered on hands-on training and service excellence. This approach consistently led to high guest satisfaction ratings. With a proactive mindset, I’m always looking for ways to enhance processes and foster strong team collaboration. My background in political science has given me a unique perspective, enabling me to manage effectively and empathize with diverse groups of people.
