About Arshad Javed

I am currently working as Senior Lecturer and Director Real Estate Analysis Unit at the School of Economics and Finance, Massey University, New Zealand. Prior to this, I was working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Project Manager at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of The University of Hong Kong. I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Building and Real Estate, Faculty of Construction and Environment of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR, China for 2 years. I have worked as a Research Associate at the HK PolyU for 6 months. I have obtained my PhD in 2013 at the Department of Building & Real Estate of the HK PolyU. My research and teaching interests are in the area of property finance and investment, property management and development, public-private partnerships construction management, sustainability and value management, construction health and safety, construction productivity and industry development, project management, contract management, facilities management, risk management, accounting and finance and game theory.
