In my nearly 3 decades as a training and development professional I’ve honed my expertise while filling many of the same positions/responsibilities I now help prepare others for: 25 years as a supervisor; 10 in program/project management; and another decade in HR and customer service. I’ve served diverse organizations- the military, private industry, non-profits and government- in diverse worksites including factories, offices, laboratories, ships, workshops and tents. I’ve worked at the micro level, collaborating with team leads from work groups of less than a dozen to provide stand-alone courses to be completed over a single lunch hour. Conversely, I’ve worked at the macro level, collaborating with Agency Administrators to create blended programs for thousands of participants to complete over the course of a year.
