About Art Ringwald

Art Ringwald has a solid track record success as a CEO and in other senior level executive positions. He is widely perceived as having strong leadership skills, broad-based expertise in developing and executing successful strategic plans, and creating and leading high power management teams. Art is currently a principal of EQE Consultants which is arguably the worlds premier risk management consultancy. In this role he leverages his experience in profitably growing companies, leading start-ups and identifying and establishing successful joint ventures. Mr. Ringwald’s involvement with EQE was a result of his deep involvement with risk management in his career in the mortgage industry where he has a reputation for being an innovative and results-driven leader. He achieved many "firsts" in this industry, including orchestrating the first successful major joint venture between a national real estate company, Coldwell Banker, and a major national mortgage company, Sears Mortgage. Mr. Ringwald served as the President and CEO of Borrowers Choice, the first successful Computerized Loan Origination System and was later widely credited with leading Bank America from a largely regional mortgage bank (ranked 21st in the country) to the nations 6th largest mortgage bank in a period of 6 years. While at Bank America Art served as the Group Executive Vice President responsible for first mortgage and home equity lending. After his tenure at Bank America and the successful introduction of predictive technology and automation in the loan process Mr. Ringwald re-directed his focus and served as the CEO of both Ellie Mae and the Ocwen Technology Xchange. Mr. Ringwald also served on a number of advisory boards including the Harvard University Joint Center for Housing Studies National Advisory Board; the National Association of Homebuilders Housing Roundtable; the FNMA National Advisory Board; and the General Electric Mortgage Insurance Company National Advisory Board.
