About Artak Tadevosyan

Dr Tadevosyan is the Scientific Director and Laboratory Head of the OVO Laboratoy, OVO Biosurance and Procrea. He is a board-certified Clinical Biochemist holder of a Specialist Certificate in the Province of Quebec (CSPQ) and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. At OVO Laboratoy and OVO Biosurance, Dr Tadevosyan is responsible for validation and implementation of all novel diagnostic assays and devices in all areas of Laboratory Medicine including Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology and Genetics. Dr Tadevosyan oversees OVO laboratory quality management and continuous improvement activities. Prior joining OVO, he earned his Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees at Université de Montréal/Montreal Heart Institute and later completed a Clinical Biochemistry residency program at Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM). Dr Tadevosyan is the author of over 25 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and is the recipient of multiple prestigious awards. His research interests include biomarkers for prenatal diagnosis, pharmacogenetics, therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical laboratory quality metrics. Dr Tadevosyan is also auditor for medical laboratory accreditation programs and an associate-lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Université de Montréal.
