I’m an IT Executive with over 20+ years experience. I currently hold the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Operations for EmPRO insurance, a leading New York based medical malpractice insurance serving physicians and healthcare professionals.In my current role I’m responsible for a team of 20+ IT professionals consisting of Developers, Systems Engineers and Help Desk personnel. During my tenure I have successfully completed an upgrade initiative to replace a legacy client server insurance processing system to a web based application, was responsible for overseeing a Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) implementation, directed the Avaya VOIP voicemail and call manager systems upgrade, as well as, realized a significant cost reduction in software and hardware contracts.Prior to my current role I have held Executive Level IT positions for leading Long Island based manufacturers and distributors including: Cybex Int’l, Veeco Instruments, NBTY Inc and Symbol Technologies. In these roles I was responsible for creating, delivering and supporting technology solutions that supported the company’s short-term and long-term business plans. I have restructured underperforming projects, acted as a change agent, improved IT service levels while reducing costs.I’m a focused “roll up your sleeves” leader who understands the need to be fiscally responsible while providing the highest levels of IT customer service. I pride myself on my ability to work with business leaders to bridge business requirements and technology gaps.I hold a Masters in Computer Science from NYU Polytechnic and a Masters in Business Administration from NYIT.
