About Arthur Chou
A writer director with a degree in Literature (National Taiwan University) and Master Degree in International Marketing (ESC Rennes), Arthur started his career working in distribution and film festivals. After university, he started writing and directing music videos, web series, advertisements and concert visuals. In 2012, he directed his first feature THE BIRD WHO SAVED THE WORLD. His screenplay STRICTLY BUSINESS won the top prize at the Excellent Screenplay Award in 2016. Kung Fu comedy THE INVINCIBLE FIST OF THE PEOPLE won a development grant from the Taiwanese government in 2017. His TV directorial debut, 2nd Season of BEST INTEREST, Taiwan’s first legal procedural, will be released in 2022. His first show as a writer, MR.HITO, has been bought by HBO Max and will be released in 2023.
