I am a seasoned risk control professional with over three decades of experience in property risk assessment, fire protection, and loss control consulting across diverse industries and geographies. Currently serving as a Risk Control Product / Industry Consulting Director at CNA Insurance, I am recognized as the highest technical expert in this field, driving strategic risk control initiatives for complex national and international accounts.Since joining CNA in 2007, I have progressively advanced through leadership roles, culminating in my current position where I provide risk control services across a broad geographic span. My expertise spans product lines, industries, and specialized risk control programs, and I play a pivotal role in underwriting decisions for high-exposure accounts. In April 2023, I transitioned to CNA’s Virtual Center, where I continue to deliver impactful risk assessments and collaborate seamlessly with underwriters, insureds, and internal teams through virtual platforms.Previously, as a Risk Control Consulting Director (2016–2021), I served as the West Zone Property Specialist, providing expert guidance to branch offices across the western U.S. and beyond. I led quality control initiatives, developed onboarding and training materials, and coordinated account reviews to identify emerging exposures and trends. My collaborative efforts with underwriting and equipment breakdown teams enhanced CNA’s integrated service offerings.From 2007 to 2015, I was a Large Property Risk Control Consultant, conducting in-depth risk assessments for a wide range of occupancies including healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and telecommunications. My work helped insureds streamline operations and reduce potential losses, while strengthening CNA’s relationships with brokers, agents, and producers.Prior to CNA, I held leadership roles at Hartford Steam Boiler Professional Loss Control, where I managed national telecommunications accounts and led quality control and training for field engineers. My early career at Kemper Insurance laid the foundation for my technical expertise in fire protection and risk evaluation.
