About Arthur Harder

Arthur Harder is a professional artist, educator and exhibit designer currently living and working in the Louisville Metro area. As an exhibit designer for the Montclair Art Museum (Montclair, New Jersey), Arthur collaborated with notable artists such as Jean Shin, Alyssa Monks and Saya Woolfalk and was responsible for the installation of several critically acclaimed exhibitions including "Georgia O’Keefe in New Mexico: Architecture, Katsinam and Land,""Saya Woolfalk: The Empathics,""The New Spirit: American Art in the Armory Show (1913),""The Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art, Armory Show (1913"), Oscar Bluemner, Picturing Paterson and was personally entrusted with the development and installation of the “One Bedroom Recreation” for the traveling exhibition,"Herb and Dorthy Vogal: Modern Art Collection" as well as the “Silver Clouds Room” at the Andy Warhol Museum. For the past seven years, Arthur has collaborated with developing artists to design blueprints for professional success based on their unique goals, providing such services as: instruction and mentorship, regular critique, personal brand and marketing strategies, representation services and commissioned sales. Additionally, he provides growth strategy and art sales consulting to various auction houses and collectors in the New York Metro area. Having recently relocated to Louisville, Arthur is actively networking with local artists, galleries and collectors and has recently served as a judge for several juried shows.
