As a seasoned broadcast engineer I provide technical production services in the fast-paced entertainment industry as a freelance engineer, owner-operator of Invictus Entertainment and the Technical Director and Co-Founder of ACM PROductions. My years of professional experience within the industry has allowed me to deliver high quality productions in the fields of live events, broadcast media, film and television, and the new norm… virtual/digital-production. Over a decade I have been blessed with opportunities to be a part of many notable productions such as The Golden Globe Awards, Trevor Live, GLAAD Media Awards, Ebony Power 100, BAFTA Awards, Abundance 360, Video Effects Society, ASCAP, American Cinematheque, The WGA Awards and Living Legends of Aviation. With the sudden strike of Covid-19, our entire industry had come to a screeching halt. At Invictus Entertainment, we quickly put together a streaming & production package with the ability of true digital and augmented delivery methods. This allowed us to provide the technical backbone for the critically acclaimed hit comedy shows “Keep Your Distance” and “Tony Baker & Friends”. Over at ACM PROductions, we were one of the first production companies to put out real virtual programming when everything seemed like the wild wild west, utilizing the tried and true methods of television-style formats. As a result, this netted us four Telly Awards all while delivering our end-clients the flexibility to take their vision which would have normally been in-person, and bring it to life. Skillset: Broadcast Systems & Infrastructure - High level knowledge with baseband video formats 12G/3G/1.5G, including working knowledge of upcoming ST-2110 Systems- Production Switchers ranging from known brands such as Grass Valley, Ross, Sony- Format Encoders / Decoders- Broadcast and Cinema Cameras- Professional Audio/Video routing and multiview systems from known brands including Grass Valley, Evertz, Ross Video, AJA- Experience with Audio I/O and infrastructure formats such as AES-67 and DANTE- Knowledge of Audio mixers and operations- Working knowledge of professional scale Communication systems which include Riedel, RTS, ClearCom. Network Systems - Experience with computer and networking infrastructure utilizing both CAT6 and Fiber- Experience with remote production and IP video sources over NDI and SRT protocols. Experience creating diagrams and designing full production schematics and workflows, including I/O blueprints.
