About Arun Karthick

As a Security Engineer at Accenture, I apply my passion and expertise in cybersecurity to safeguard critical systems and applications from evolving cyber threats. With certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and CCNA Routing and Switching, I have honed my skills in network and information security. In my role, I specialize in IoT Pentesting, Automotive Pentesting, Hardware Pentesting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. I conduct thorough vulnerability assessments, replicate zero-day vulnerabilities, perform OS and service hardening, and lead regular security audits. Collaborating closely with development teams, I help them understand and address vulnerabilities to improve product security. I also prepare and deliver tailored cybersecurity demos to meet client expectations, generate in-depth security reports with risk descriptions and actionable recommendations, and conduct re-assessments after vulnerabilities are mitigated. My work includes heavy load cyber-attack testing, and I've successfully implemented countermeasures for critical vulnerabilities, significantly enhancing the resilience and security of products.
