About Arun Mandapaka

I am currently the Head of Distribution and Logistics at Protective Industrial Products for Australia and New Zealand. I have extensive experience in the automotive sector starting my career as a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate and working my way up in Toyota where I learned lean principles first-hand. I completed my Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain from The University of Sydney. In Australia I progressed from being a pick packer and forklift operator to becoming an inventory controller Operations manager for DC and eventually overseeing the entire supply chain. My experience enabled me to develop a unique leadership style creating more leaders and building resilient operations. The true testament was the way the organization flourished during difficult times of Covid and during exponential growth period through various acquisitions when people from different working cultures were expected to work in harmony to deliver desired results.
