About Arun Nagarajaiah

Possible rewritten summary: As a Master of Science candidate in Construction Management and Technology at Arizona State University, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to the dynamic challenges of the construction industry. My academic program equips me with the latest tools and techniques to manage complex projects effectively and efficiently. My passion for construction stems from my previous experience as a Site Engineer at AP Design and Construction in Bengaluru, India, where I delivered six residential projects, each exceeding square feet. I demonstrated strong leadership skills, overseeing subcontractors and reducing material costs by 10% through strategic collaboration with quantity surveyors. I also gained valuable insights into the design and construction of pre-stressed concrete structures during my internship at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, the first metro rail project in India with 750V DC Third Rail on Standard gauge. Currently, I am honing my organizational and customer service skills as a Lead Barista at Starbucks in Downtown Phoenix, managing a team of 14 baristas and implementing inventory control procedures that have resulted in a 12% reduction in waste. I am committed to excellence, innovation, and teamwork, and I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to the construction industry. Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate and create value.
