Background

About Arun Pati

First to initiate the research in quantum computing and quantum information in India in 1990.* Founding director of Quantum Ecosystem and Technology Council of India (QETCI).* Research interests span a wide range of topics in quantum computing, quantum information, quantum communication, and quantum thermodynamics. Some of my notable results include discovering several no-go theorems in quantum information, such as the no-deletion theorem, the no-partial erasure theorem, the no-hiding theorem, and the no-masking theorem, which are fundamental results that differentiate quantum information from classical information. They have deep implications in quantum cryptography and quantum communication. I also proposed remote state preparation protocol and developed a new method of quantum state determination, called quantum state interferography, which offers a novel way of measuring and manipulating quantum states.* More than 170 research papers in reputed journals and conferences.* Name appears as No 1 in World's Famous Quantum Information Scientists.* Ranked among the top 2% scientists in the world by Stanford University.* Name appears as the `Father of Indian Quantum Computing'.
