About Arun Sandwal

I am a Post-graduate Mechanical Engineer having specializations in Design Engineering and Thermal Engineering. I recently worked in a research based company as Mechanical Engineer for 4 months. I have various areas of expertise in very demanding mechanical engineering skills such as Simulation in CFD and CAE in Solidworks, CAESAR 2 and Ansys Fluent; 3D Modelling and Rendering, and BIW (Body in White) design for Automotive Sheet Metal and Plastic Design in softwares like Solidworks, CATIA V5, Siemens NX and AutoCAD. For reference, in my last company, I have designed a Renewable Water Making Machine in Solidworks which after assembling have sent for Japan Order. In addition to that, I have designed a bike named American Chopper and also rendered in Solidworks, and designed a Car Hood Design in CATIA V5 in my Project-based learning skills. Also I have made 2 research projects in my Master's Degree, in which the Major Research Project (Thesis/Dissertation) is based on CFD Simulation and Design to reduce drag coefficient of a State Transport Bus. And, the Minor Research Project is a Case Study on Carbon Emission in a Coal based Power-Plant and analysis on its conversion to Gas based Power Plant. In addition to it, I also presented a Research Paper on "Performance Analysis of CI Engine Fueled with Biodiesel/ Biodiesel Blend" Apart from that, I have Internship experience in two PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) for two months each, one is in NTPC Limited and the other in NFL (National Fertilizer Limited). I was also Selected for National for Mathematics Modelling in National Science Exhibition in my 12th Standard.
